The Marcus Hook Trainer Fire Department regrets to announce the death of Past Chief George McClure, A 58 year member of the Marcus Hook Fire Company No. 1 since 1955, he held the office of Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Chief Engineer, as well as serving on many committees during his Fire Service Career.

At 21:25 company 68 was dispatched to assist Upper Chichester on a working building fire. Ladder 68 hit the street within seconds with a crew of five. Upper Chi command instructed Ladder 68 to set up on the C side of the building and act as the second due truck company. The ladders crew opened up the roof and was made available shortly after. Good job to all on scene.Thank you to Michael Mcclure for the photos.

Here is a look at the production of the new 68-2. It should be completed around the first week of August. 68-2 is a custom 2013 E-One Typhoon with a 2000 gpm pump and a 750 gal tank.

the officers and members received word that our new engine is on its way of being built at the E-one dealer in Florida. the engine should be completed in the first few weeks in August.

Tonight the members of 68 and 39 got together for training. Crews went over basic engine and truck company operations. They did everything from stretching attack lines to practicing roof cuts. All involved did a great job of working together. Members would like to thank Officers and Members of 39 for the invite. We hope to get together again soon.

After 21 years of serving the community Engine 68-2 (1992 E-One Protector) has been sold to the Reliance Fire Company Station 61.
